BCCL Backs Jharkhand Kickboxers for Global Glory

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) has stepped beyond the coalfields to support sporting talent, extending sponsorship assistance to Jharkhand kickboxers Mandeep Kaur and Rajdeep Kaur for their participation in the World Cup Kickboxing 2026. The two athletes will represent India at the international tournament scheduled in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from October 13 to 18, 2026. Both are associated with the Jharkhand Amateur Sports Kickboxing Association and have earned the opportunity to compete against international athletes on the global stage. During their visit to BCCL’s Koyla Bhawan headquarters in Dhanbad, Chairman-cum-Managing Director Manoj Kumar Agarwal presented sponsorship assistance to the players and extended his best wishes for their upcoming campaign. The support is expected to help the athletes meet expenses associated with their international participation while allowing them to focus on preparation and performance. For BCCL, the initiative reflects its broader commitment to encouraging emerging sporting talent alongside its core role in India’s coal sector.
