Account Information: Phone number (for OTP login), display name, PSU affiliation, and sector preference.
Usage Data: Articles viewed, liked, bookmarked, and shared — to personalize your feed.
Device Information: Device type, OS version, and FCM token for push notifications.
Analytics: Anonymous page views and session data for improving the platform.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Personalize your news feed based on followed PSUs and sectors.
- Send push notifications for breaking news and job alerts (opt-in).
- Improve content quality and platform performance.
- We never sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication tokens are stored in secure storage (Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android).
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
Firebase Authentication: For secure phone OTP login.
Firebase Cloud Messaging: For push notifications.
Cloudflare R2: For image storage and CDN delivery.
5. Your Rights
You can:
- Request deletion of your account and data.
- Opt out of push notifications at any time.
- Update your profile and preferences.
