NTPC Boosts Digital Workforce with Power BI Training at Vindhyachal

In a major push towards strengthening digital capabilities and data-driven workplace culture, NTPC Limited’s Regional Learning Institute (RLI), Vindhyachal, successfully conducted a Power BI Dashboards Level 1 training programme aimed at equipping employees with modern analytical and visualization skills. Held from May 18 to May 20, 2026, the specialised programme brought together officials from NTPC’s Vindhyachal and Singrauli units for an intensive learning session focused on dashboard creation, business intelligence tools, and data-driven decision-making. The training featured practical, hands-on modules using Microsoft Power BI, enabling participants to learn how to convert raw data into interactive dashboards, meaningful insights, and visual reports for smarter operational decision-making. Led by expert faculty Kiran Babu, SRK (Software), the programme included real-time use cases, industry-relevant applications, and best practices in analytics and data visualization. One of the major highlights of the session was the final dashboard presentation, where participants showcased their learning through practical applications. Officials said the initiative reflects NTPC’s growing focus on digital learning, analytics, and technology-driven workplace efficiency, helping employees adapt to modern business intelligence tools in an increasingly data-centric work environment. The programme also aligns with India’s broader vision of digital transformation and Atmanirbhar Bharat, as NTPC continues investing in skill development to build a future-ready and digitally empowered workforce.
