NTPC Opens Doors for Future Professionals

NTPC Limited has launched the third round of the Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme at its Regional Learning Institute (RLI), Vindhyachal, strengthening its commitment to youth empowerment, skill development, and industry-oriented learning.
The initiative, rolled out on May 26, 2026, is designed to provide young aspirants with real-world industrial exposure and hands-on professional experience through a structured nine-month internship programme.
The programme aims to bridge one of the biggest challenges faced by students and fresh graduates — the gap between classroom education and workplace expectations. Through practical learning modules, participants will gain direct exposure to industry operations, technical processes, workplace culture, and professional problem-solving.
Officials said the internship scheme has been structured to help young professionals build competencies required in today’s fast-changing industrial environment, while also improving career readiness and employability.
The latest round of the programme reflects NTPC’s broader vision of nurturing a future-ready workforce aligned with India’s growth ambitions.
