RINL Heroes Honoured for Lifesaving Mission

In a heartwarming recognition of humanitarian service, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, honoured two employees whose dedication to voluntary blood donation has helped save countless lives. Dr. Salim G. Purushothaman, Director (Operations), felicitated K.V.L. Narayana Reddy, General Foreman in the Raw Material Handling Plant, and Karri Srinivas, Deputy General Manager in the Safety Engineering Department, for their remarkable contribution to society through repeated blood donations. Narayana Reddy has donated blood an impressive 63 times, while Srinivas has donated blood 58 times, including rare blood donations that have proved crucial for patients facing medical emergencies. Speaking during the felicitation ceremony, Dr. Purushothaman praised both employees for demonstrating that true service extends beyond professional duties.
