SECL CMD Pushes Output Drive at Amadand

South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) Chairman-cum-Managing Director Harish Duhan conducted a detailed review of mining activities at the Amadand Open Cast Project (OCP), emphasizing the need to enhance coal production and improve operational performance.
During the visit, Duhan assessed ongoing mining operations, production progress, infrastructure development, and overall project execution. He interacted with project officials and directed the management team to intensify efforts toward achieving targeted coal output while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
The review comes at a crucial time when coal remains a key pillar of India’s energy security. As one of the country’s largest coal producers, SECL plays a significant role in ensuring a stable fuel supply to power plants and industries across the nation.
Duhan stressed the importance of timely mine development, efficient resource utilization, and coordinated execution of expansion activities. He also reviewed operational challenges and explored measures to improve productivity through better planning and execution.
